Born and raised on the Azim Steppe, her life began as one within the Qalli tribe, those who sung the songs of the land. Learning the songs of the tribes and the ancestors before her, she carried her voice to match that of the environment around her. Often times she found herself spending time in Reunion, learning sign language to help expand her range of communication.During her teen years, an interest to go through Bardam's Mettle to prove her strength was growing in her. Once she got approval, the trials came and went with Artemis obtaining her yol that day. The following year, she participated in her first, and last, Nadaam as she vowed to never pick up a weapon again.While she was roaming near Ceol Aen, she happened on the Noykin tribe who took the broken Xaela into their arms and taught her their ways. Now adopted into the tribe, Artemis learned how to break, tame, and raise horses as the rest of her adopted brothers and sisters. She even developed a small herd of her own that she remains proud of to this day.As of now, Artemis spends her time away from the Steppe to try and find what more is out there for her. She carries her song in her voice and a a keepsake made from her herd as she travels to places far from home. For what life has in store for her, only Nhaama knows.

Songbird: Born into the Qalli tribe upon the Steppe, she has a natural affinity for song and sound. A blessing and a curse, in her opinion, as every being has their own melody. Her voice instinctually knowing how to carry emotion.Steppe Child: A child who was born and raised on the Steppe, and grew within its challenges. She's been recognized as a warrior through the trials of Bardam and earned her yol. However, she doesn't like to speak of what happened after.Lack of Aether: Those with aethersight would notice that the Xaela is very dim. While there is earth-aspected aether within her, it makes up very little of her.Violin: An instrument she learned to play later in life that has become a staple in how to convey her feelings. She doesn't play it often anymore, for reasons unknown, but still keeps the very first one locked away safe.Scars: Depending on the outfits she wears, several scars are visible on her skin. A thin, straight scar down her sternum, claw-like marks near her left ribs, and a knife wound on her stomach.
